The senior members of our renewable energy company bring unparalleled expertise in finance, project management, engineering, permitting, and community relations. We recognize their contribution to NuPower LLC as among the reasons we continue to be a leader in the sustainable energy industry.
Daniel Donovan
Mr. Donovan, the co-founder of NuPower LLC, has been instrumental in energy project financing in the United States and abroad for over 25 years. He is currently a lead developer and principal for many renewable energy projects and specializes in all financial matters related to the field.
He has ten years of experience with ExxonMobil Research & Engineering Co and the Fluor Corporation, working in the engineering and technical consulting industries. During his tenure at Credit Suisse and Merrill, he concentrated on corporate and project funding.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, he received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Scott Guilmartin
Mr. Guilmartin has been essential in developing successful renewable energy projects at NuPower LLC. His knowledge comes from his experience as the founder of the organic recycling company Envirocycle LLC in Bloomfield, CT, and as former chairman of the Suffield, CT, Planning & Zoning Commission.
These past tenures have allowed him to efficiently work with local and state authorities during the permitting process. Mr. Guilmartin has also served on the board of the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, which provides mortgage and equity financing for Connecticut housing development and preservation. Its portfolio budget exceeds $4 billion.
He is currently a board member of the Connecticut Airport Authority and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Bonaventure University.
